Indian films usually reach streaming four to eight weeks after their cinema release, so this page runs roughly a month or two behind the box office. Films that skipped cinemas appear much sooner.
Availability is specific to India. Streaming rights are sold country by country, so a film on a service abroad may be on a different one here, or not available yet at all.
Latest movies on OTT by language
This page mixes every language together. If you only want one, the language pages are narrower: Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada each have their own list, linked at the foot of this page, and each updates the same way as films arrive.
We only list legal streaming services. A film on none of them has not reached streaming in India yet, whatever else a search result may offer you.
Common questions
What new movies are on OTT in India right now?
The titles on this page are the most recent arrivals across Indian streaming services, in every language. Each shows the service carrying it.
How long after release does a film come to OTT in India?
Usually four to eight weeks after the cinema release. Big theatrical hits hold out longer; smaller films and direct-to-streaming titles arrive sooner.
Why is a film on Netflix abroad but not in India?
Streaming rights are sold separately for each country. A different service often holds the Indian rights to the same film, so it can be on Prime Video or JioHotstar here while sitting on Netflix elsewhere.
